  Here I'm trying to get Joseph to pull me however he doesn't get the fact that even though he feels the constrant of the breast collar he can still go forward.  After a few days and getting him a little better I may wait till next year to really work on it, just so I can firm up all the other training.

  This year was not as exciting however it was just as busy.  I roped calves this spring, and rode Bethany in two parades.
  In June I bought me two more Nez Pierce horses.  One I found a home for right away (that one was Bethany's half-brother as well as the other horse's half-brother, but he was white and blue-eyed and I only took him because the lady I got him from made me take him).  The other horse, Joseph, I kept and have plans to make him a roping and parade horse as well as a trick horse if possible.  Joe, is a buttermilk buckskin with a blaze and three socks.  I recently got to work him and I'm riding him now and I think he just may work out.  We'll see ether this winter or next spring.
