  Welcome to Tahoe Tack & Training.  I deal in rope and braided horse tack made from the best line of products by name brands such as Samson Rope, Performance Rope, New Enlgand Rope, etc.  All my products are carefully hand-crafted to suit your specific needs. 
   Jacklynn Thompson has been written up in the Idaho County Ruralite as running a skilled “Horse boot camp.” Her profession of training horses and hand-crafting tack had its beginnings when she rescued two abused fillies. After acquiring the two fillies she found herself ill-equipped. Faced with this dilemma she decided to try and hand-make some halters for her young equine companions.  Once completed she found that her hand-crafted halters met the needs of her horses far better than if she had purchased a traditional halter. This came into play later as her clients began to experience the benefits of her halters and before long they were in demand. Her halters soon spoke for themselves as they were fashionably worn by horses that participated in halter showing, in which one took first place. Her natural talent to create comfortable horse tack soon evolved and she found herself crafting not only halters, but bridles, breast collars, and showing tack. Her authentic, native Arabian tack stole some glances as she proudly displayed it in parades and won her genuine compliments from her fellow participants.
